Eileen Fisher Women-Owned Business Grant Program
Eileen Fisher launched her business grant program in 2004, awarding $100,000 in grants to 10 female-led businesses, which had a positive social and environmental impact. For example, in 2017 Fifth-generation beekeeper Leigh-Kathryn Bonner was awarded the grant to support her ethically reputable business.
To be eligible for the grant, you must have been in business for at least three years. You can apply for it via the official website and position yourself for a chance at helpful financing.
The National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE) offers a grant program to one of its 50,000 members. This means signing up to the organization if you haven’t already, but for the shot at a life-changing grant it could be worth paying the $120 annual membership.
You’ll benefit from the membership even if you don’t get your hands on the grant, from mentorship, discounts, networking and more.
But most importantly, you’ll get a shot at grants and scholarships, of which NASE has handed out nearly $1 million since 2006! You must be a member and display specific details regarding how your company could benefit from a grant.
For a legitimate chance to receive a grant, you must prove how it will accelerate business growth, providing a business plan and resume.
This was launched in 1998 in honor of entrepreneur Amber, who unfortunately met her untimely demise before fulfilling her entrepreneurial dreams. The grant was established to help women reach their goals with an offering of $2,000 per month.
One of the monthly winners is even offered a staggering $25,000 by the end of the year, to accompany monthly payments which are extremely helpful for getting your business off the ground. What’s great about this grant is that you won’t have to pay it back!
Apply all year round for a shot at winning the Amber Grant, all you need to do is apply, pay a small application fee and explain your story for a chance to win.
